Abstract

According to news originating from Uttar Pradesh, India, by NewsRx co rrespondents, research stated, “Accurate forecast of daily streamflow of the maj or Himalayan rivers is crucial for understanding changes in their hydrological r egimes caused by precipitation variability, as well as their potential implicati ons for hydropower generation and flood management in the downstream region. How ever, the study pertaining to daily streamflow forecasting in the western Himala yas is lacking, primarily due to the limited availability and accessibility of long-term daily gauged data.”
