Abstract

According to news reporting originating in Xi’ an, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Large-s cale place recognition based on point clouds remains a challenge due to the geom etric transformations in the scene. Among many geometric transformations, rotati on is particularly challenging to handle in practice.”
