According to news reporting from Groningen, Netherlands, by NewsRx journ alists, research stated, “This paper is the first to examine the impact of robot ization on work meaningfulness, autonomy, competence, and relatedness, which are essential to motivation and well-being at work. Using surveys of workers and ro botization data for 14 industries in 20 European countries spanning 2005 - 2021, we find a consistent negative impact of robotization on perceived work meaningf ulness and autonomy.”
