According to news originatingfrom Callaghan, Australia, by News Rx editors, the research stated, “This study investigates the feasibility ofimp lementing simple Machine Learning models to make fast and reliable predictions o f rockfall energies andrun-outs at the base of highwalls. Probabilistic rockfal l simulations are performed to generate a syntheticdataset of rockfall trajecto ries using high-resolution 3D photogrammetric models of fifteen highwalls fromo pen pit coal mines.”
