According to news reporting originating in Chengdu, Peopl e's Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, "Biochar is widel y used to mitigate nitrogen (N) emissions in global croplands. However, its effe ctiveness varies due to spatial disparities in external factors such as soil pro perties and climate conditions, as well as biochar characteristics such as pH an d carbon content."
