By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-From Washington, D.C., NewsRx journali sts report that a patent application by the inventors Andersson, Hans (Vasteras, SE); Hanssen, Sven (Vasteras, SE); Noren, Johan (Vasteras, SE), filed on April 29, 2021, was made available online on June 6, 2024. No assignee for this patent application has been made. News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: "A manipulator of an industrial robot may comprise a plural ity of joints and a plurality of intermediate links. To be able to determine the position of the manipulator, each joint is usually provided with an angle measu ring device in the form of an encoder or a resolver indicating the position of t he joint relative to a zero position. By reading the joint positions, a pose (po sition and orientation) of a tool center point, TCP, of the manipulator can be d etermined.
