By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-From Washington, D.C., NewsRx journali sts report that a patent application by the inventors Bumatai, Mary (Palm Spring s, CA, US); Coats, Ryan (Menifee, CA, US), filed on February 16, 2024, was made available online on June 6, 2024. No assignee for this patent application has been made. News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors: "The present disclosure relates generally to robotic automa ted manufacturing technologies, particularly systems and methods for filling flu id containers, and more particularly to a mobile fully autonomous filling, dosin g, capping, and sanitizing system for vape oil cartridges, disposables, and rese rvoirs. "There are numerous systems in the prior art for automatically filling container s in various manufacturing sectors. These include bottling sodas and milk, filli ng ink cartridges, and even filling cartridges with explosives. These filling pr ocedures may be automated and are well known. "In general, current practices for filling and capping vape oil cartridges are p erformed either by hand fill or partial hard automation. With the filling being done by hand, human error often leads to variations in the fill amount. The amou nt of liquid dispensed into a cartridge measured through the suction apparatuses used cannot be accurately measured unless performed in a separate procedure. Ad ditionally, the temperature of the liquid must remain consistent to provide an a ccurate amount of dispensing. The parameters involved to complete a filling proc ess with accuracy and speed can only be done through repetitive consistent motio n.
