Abstract
By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News-According to news reporting originatin g from Washington, D.C., by NewsRx journalists, a patent application by the inve ntor KORKINOF, Dimitrios (Surrey, GB), filed on January 25, 2023, was made avail able online on June 6, 2024. No assignee for this patent application has been made. Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: "Recent years have shown a remarkable growth in consumption of digital goods such as digital music, movies, books, and podcasts, among many ot hers. The overwhelmingly large number of these goods often makes navigation and discovery of new digital goods an extremely difficult task. Some tasks, includin g navigation and discovery, are further complicated by the presence of duplicati ve digital goods, for which a user may not wish to navigate through each represe ntation thereof (e.g., two songs can be very similar but are still represented a s distinct items in, for example, a playlist). Further complications are caused by corrupt, incorrect, or missing data in records associated with such digital g oods, which prevent them from being recognized as belong to a group of similar m edia items."
