According to news originating from Haikou, People’s Re public of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Mascotlike service robots embody anthropomorphic features, fostering affinity, and cultural repres entation. It is unknown whether they have politeness strategies that are more ef fective compared to humanoid robots.” Funders for this research include National Natural Science Foundation of China ( NSFC), Natural Science Foundation of Hainan Province, Key Research and Developme nt Project of Hainan Province.
