Abstract

According to news reporting out of Sherbrooke, Canada, by NewsRx editor s, research stated, “The representation of a Configuration Space C plays a vital role in accelerating the finding of a collision-free path for sampling-based mo tion planners where the majority of computation time is spent in collision check ing of states. Traditionally, planners evaluate C representations through limite d evaluations of collision-free paths using the collision checker or by reducing the dimensionality of C for visualization.” Financial support for this research came from Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecn ologia (CONACyT).
