Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – Data detailed on Robotics have been pr esented. According to news reporting out of Pasadena, California, by NewsRx edit ors, research stated, “Understanding terrain topology at long-range is crucial f or the success of off-road robotic missions, especially when navigating at high- speeds. LiDAR sensors, which are currently heavily relied upon for geometric map ping, provide sparse measurements when mapping at greater distances.” Financial support for this research came from California Institute of Technology at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
