According to news reporting out of Rupnagar, India, by NewsRx ed itors, research stated, “Material properties play a crucial role in governing th e seismic response of reinforced-concrete buildings. Investigating the effects o f material properties uncertainty using nonlinear dynamic analysis can be comput ationally expensive to obtain the seismic fragility curve parameters.” Financial support for this research came from Ministry of Education, Government of India.
