According to news originating from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Some materials, su ch as reinforced and prestressed concrete, involve non-linear constitutive relat ionships in elasticity problems defined on them. In particular, the shear streng th of a reinforced concrete beam may be calculated by considering a diagonal str uts field in the context of the so-called ‘Compression Field Theories’ (CFTs).” Funders for this research include Ministerio De Ciencia E Innovacion; Gobierno D e Espana Ministerio De Ciencia E Innovacion.
