Abstract

According to news reporting from Turin, Italy, by NewsRx journ alists, research stated, “With the advent of Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligen ce (AI) has created a favorable environment for the digitalization of manufactur ing and processing, helping industries to automate and optimize operations. In t his work, we focus on a practical case study of a brake caliper quality control operation, which is usually accomplished by human inspection and requires a dedi cated handling system, with a slow production rate and thus inefficient energy u sage.” Financial support for this research came from GEFIT S.p.a..
