Abstract

According to newsreporting originating in Uttar Pradesh, India, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The present studyinvestigates the ultimate bearing capacity (UBC) of a footing subjected to an eccentric load situated abovean unlined horseshoe-shaped tunnel in the rock mass, following th e Generalized Hoek-Brown (GHB) failurecriterion. A reduction factor (R-f) is in troduced to investigate the impact of the tunnel on the UBC ofthe footing.”
