According to news re porting from Edmonton, Canada, by NewsRx journalists, researchstated, “Measurin g the kyphotic angle (KA) and lordotic angle (LA) on lateral radiographs is impo rtantto truly diagnose children with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. However, it is a time-consuming process tomeasure the KA because the endplate of the upp er thoracic vertebra is normally difficult to identify.”
