Abstract

According tonews reporting from Fuzhou, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Accurateprediction of successful sphincter-preserving resection (SSPR) for low rectal cancer enabl es peer institutionsto scrutinize their own performance and potentially avoid u nnecessary permanent colostomy. The aim ofthis study is to evaluate the variati on in SSPR and present the first artificial intelligence (AI) models topredict SSPR in low rectal cancer patients.”
