The media data from a mediacapture device can be captured and output for processing and/or consumption. For instance, a v ideo ofa scene can be captured and processed for display on one or more viewing devices. In some cases, mediacontent (e.g., live media content) can be provide d to a device of a user for display. Based on mediacontent of a particular type being displayed on a current channel of the media content, the user may causet he device to change from the current channel to a different channel of the media content. However,there is no mechanism or process for detecting completion of the particular type of media content.”
