According to newsreporting out of Victoria, Austr alia, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Mosquito-borne diseases suchas malar ia, dengue, Zika, and chikungunya cause significant morbidity and mortality glob ally, resultingin over 600,000 deaths from malaria and around 36,000 deaths fro m dengue each year, with millions ofpeople infected annually, leading to substa ntial economic losses. The existing mosquito control measures,such as long-last ing insecticidal nets (LLINs) and indoor residual spraying (IRS), helped to redu ce theinfections.”
