No assignee for this patent application has been made.Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Online document management systems are used to create and rev iew documents and provide userswith tools to edit, view, and execute the docume nts. Since documents are typically drafted and editedmanually, there are signif icant chances of errors occurring in the document. As a result of such errors,t he document management system may associate a document with incorrect metadata d escribing thedocument or portions of the document. A document management system may manage workflows associatedwith documents. Incorrect metadata describing t he documents may cause the document managementsystem to execute incorrect steps in a document workflow. For example, the document may be routed toan incorrect entity, or a workflow task may be scheduled incorrectly. Such document errors m ay resultin delays in execution of a document workflow as well as errors that m ay be difficult to correct at a latestage in the document workflow.”
