According to newsreporting from Porto, Portugal, by News Rx journalists, research stated, “Given the growth of domotics andhome automati on, there is a need to use smart devices that integrate energy management system s andenable the automation of the environment. Considering the need to study th e relationship between theenvironmental parameters in which the equipment is lo cated and the energy parameters, an EnvironmentalAwareness smart Plug (EnAPlug) is proposed with the application of machine learning (Tiny ML).Thisarticle pre sents a demonstration of EnAPlug applied to a refrigerator for predictions on in ternal humidityand activation motor for 5 min-ahead prediction on its operation , i.e., turning on or off.”
