Since documents are typically drafted and edited manually,there are sig nificant chances of errors occurring in the document. As a result of such errors , the documentmanagement system may associate a document with incorrect metadat a describing the document orportions of the document. A document management sys tem may manage workflows associated withdocuments. Incorrect metadata describin g the documents may cause the document management systemto execute incorrect st eps in a document workflow. For example, the document may be routed to an incorrect entity, or a workflow task may be scheduled incorrectly. Such document error s may result in delays in execution of a document workflow as well as errors tha t may be difficult to correct at a late stage in thedocument workflow.”
