Abstract
The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “Video game players often share memorable achiev ements from their gaming sessions withtheir friends via social media platforms, e.g., Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, etc. In some instances,the memorable achievements are captured in video clips or screenshots taken from a gaming sess ion.The generation of such video clips or screenshots can be time-consuming and burdensome for the playerbecause the player not only has to search through a r ecording of the gaming session to find the memorableachievements, but also typi cally must use specialized software to generate the video clips or screenshots.Further, from a network standpoint, this process of generating the video clips o r screenshots is relativelyinefficient and consequently consumes a significant amount of computing resources.
