According to news reportingoriginating in Lisbon, Portugal, by N ewsRx journalists, research stated, “Ad hoc teamwork is a researchtopic in mult i-agent systems whereby an agent (the ‘ad hoc agent’) must successfully collabor ate witha set of unknown agents (the ‘teammates’) without any prior coordinatio n or communication protocol.However, research in ad hoc teamwork is predominant ly focused on agent-only teams, but not on agenthumanteams, which we believe i s an exciting research avenue and has enormous application potential inhuman-ro bot teams.”
