Abstract

According tonews reporting originating from the Un iversity Pompeu Fabra by NewsRx correspondents, research stated,“Pulse-coupled spiking neural networks are a powerful tool to gain mechanistic insights into ho w neuronsself-organize to produce coherent collective behavior. These networks use simple spiking neuron models,such as the th-neuron or the quadratic integra te-and-fire (QIF) neuron, that replicate the essential featuresof real neural d ynamics.”
