Such delivery robots, e.g., Last Mile Delivery (LMD) robots,are often deploy ed in populated areas and inside buildings (e.g., urban environments) and are co nfiguredto deliver mail, packages, food, groceries, concierge or room service, and/or other goods. Use of such robots may reduce traffic and emissions while al so lowering overhead (e.g., fuel and/or other costs) whencompared to human, aut omobile, or truck-based delivery.
