According to news originatingfrom New Delhi, India, by NewsRx corres pondents, research stated, “A machine learning-based approachwas utilized to de velop a device for groundnut bud necrosis virus (GBNV) disease severity detectio n and estimation in tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L.). The study involved inoculating tomato plantswith GBNV, monitoring changes in morphological and spe ctral characteristics, evaluating machine learningalgorithms (decision tree [DT] classifier) for analysis and classification of disease se verity, and developingand validating a device for disease detection and severit y estimation.”
