Abstract
From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “Robotic systems begin to interact more with humans every passing day. Exoskeletons andrehabilitation robots take a place in human life in a manner forming symbiotic togetherness with humansbeyond mutual physi cal interaction. These systems must be reliable and suitable for use. The actuation of such robots in a compliant manner to human movement necessitates applicat ion of torque andimpedance control algorithms to robotic systems and compliancy of the used actuators to this structure.
