By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – Current study results on Machine Learn ing have been published. According to newsreporting from Evanston, Illinois, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “This paper presents a statisticalphysics -based machine learning model for predicting defects, such as surface roughness and lack-of-fusionporosity, in the laser powder bed fusion of metals (PBF-LB/M) additive manufacturing process. Thestatistical physics-based model is calibrat ed and validated against controlled singletrack experiments andused for statist ical prediction for multi-layer and multi-track cases for PBF-LB/M defects.”
