A wire loop is laid around a designated area and electrically connected with a transmitterconfigured to p roduce a designated signal, and each animal is fitted with a receiver. The recei ver isresponsive to the designed signal and when an animal approaches the wire the receiver detects the signaland delivers an alert and/or a stimulus to the a nimal.
