Abstract

According to newsreporting out of Cincinnati, Ohio, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Understanding the uncertainty innondestructi ve evaluation measurements of rough defects requires a stochastic analysis due t o the randomvariation between the morphology of different defects. In previous studies, large numbers of finite elementmodels of randomly generated rough defe cts have been run in order to gain an insight into the statisticsof the uncerta in results.”
