In a chromatogram waveform created on the basis of a detection signal obtained by the detector,peaks corresponding to various components in t he sample appear. Since a time (retention time) at whicha peak is observed corr esponds to one of the components, the component can be specified from the retention time of the peak, that is, qualitative analysis can be performed. In additio n, since a height or anarea of the peak corresponds to a concentration or a con tent of the component, the concentration andthe content of the component can be obtained from a height value or an area value of the peak, that is,quantitativ e analysis can be performed.
