Abstract

According to newsreporting out of Barcelona, Spain, by N ewsRx editors, research stated, “Around 50 years ago, molecularbiology opened t he path to understand changes in forms, adaptations, complexity, or the basis of humandiseases through myriads of reports on gene birth, gene duplication, gene expression regulation, and splicingregulation, among other relevant mechanisms behind gene function. Here, with the advent of big data andartificial intellig ence (AI), we focus on an elusive and intriguing mechanism of gene function regu lation,RNA editing, in which a single nucleotide from an RNA molecule is change d, with a remarkable impactin the increase of the complexity of the transcripto me and proteome.”
