According to newsoriginating from Murcia, Spain, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Minimally invasive techniqueshave d emonstrated several advantages over the open approach. In the field of prostate cancer, the LAP-01 trial demonstrated the superiority of robotic-assisted radica l prostatectomy (RARP) over laparoscopicradical prostatectomy (LRP) when compar ing continence at 3-month after surgery, with no statisticallysignificant diffe rences at 6 and 12 months of follow-up.”
