According to news reporting originating from Johor Baharu , Malaysia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “This workcombines the S upport Vector Machine (SVM) model with Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD) to present a novel method for drought prediction. The EEMD-SVM model is asse ssed for droughtforecasting, comparing it to conventional Auto Regressive Integ rated Moving Average (ARIMA) and SVMmodels.”
