According to ne ws reporting originating in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China, byNewsRx jour nalists, research stated, “The cumulative burden of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) issignificant, with a noteworthy percentage (10%-15% ) of patients with HCM per year experiencing majoradverse cardiovascular events (MACEs). A current risk stratification scheme for HCM had only limitedaccuracy in predicting sudden cardiac death (SCD) and failed to account for a broader sp ectrum of adversecardiovascular events and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) par ameters.”
