Abstract

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News - New research on Robotics is the subjec t of a report. According to news reportingoriginating in Ann Arbor, Michigan, b y NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Body-machine interfaces(BoMIs)-systems that control assistive devices (e.g., a robotic manipulator) with a person’s mov ementsoffera robust and non-invasive alternative to brain-machine interfaces f or individuals with neurologicalinjuries. However, commercially-available assis tive devices offer more degrees of freedom (DOFs) thancan be efficiently contro lled with a user’s residual motor function.”
