According to news reportingfrom Beijing, People’s Republ ic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The rapid advancementof a rtificial intelligence (AI) technology has led to the prioritization of standard izing the processing, coding,and transmission of video using neural networks. T o address this priority area, the Moving Picture, Audio,and Data Coding by Arti ficial Intelligence (MPAI) group is developing a suite of standards called MPAIEEVfor ‘end-to-end optimized neural video coding.’ The aim of this AI-based vid eo standard project is tocompress the number of bits required to represent high -fidelity video data by utilizing data-trained neuralcoding technologies.”
