Abstract

Accordingto news reporting from Monza, Italy, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “Artificial intelligence canstandardize and automatize highly demanding procedures, such as manual segmentation, especi ally in ananatomical site as common as the pelvis. This study investigated four automated segmentation tools oncomputed tomography (CT) images in female and m ale pelvic radiotherapy (RT) starting from simplerand well-known atlas-based me thods to the most recent neural networks-based algorithms.”
