Especially in terms of a swimming pool which needs tobe cleaned fr equently, the robotic pool cleaner is widely favored by users. At present, when the commonrobotic pool cleaner cleans the internal surface of the pool, the rob otic pool cleaner itself does not knowthe depth information of its current loca tion, so that the robotic pool cleaner does not know whether ithas been above t he water surface, whether it has sunk to the bottom and its depth on the wall wh ere itis travelling, finally leading to the failure of realizing some intellige nt functions.
