Abstract

According tonews originating from Melbourne, Aust ralia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Matrix-assistedlaser desorpt ion/ionization-time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) is widely used in clinicalmicrobiology laboratories for bacterial identification but its use for detection of antimicrobial resistance(AMR) remains limited. Here, we used MALD I-TOF MS with artificial intelligence (AI) approaches tosuccessfully predict AM R in , a priority pathogen with complex AMR mechanisms.”
