Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“An autonomous cleaning robot can navigate across a floor surf ace and avoid obstacles while vacuumingthe floor surface and operating rotatabl e members carried by the robot to ingest debris from the floorsurface. As the r obot moves across the floor surface, the robot can rotate the rotatable members, whichengage the debris and guide the debris toward a vacuum airflow generated by the robot. The rotatablemembers and the vacuum airflow can thereby cooperate to allow the robot to ingest debris.”
