In Brazil, in the year 2022, there w ere 1,828 accidents involving electricity resulting in 592 deaths.A solution to improve this process is the use of available technology, especially with the mo dernizationbrought about by the so-called 4th Industrial Revolution, or Industr y 4.0, This article aims to presenta bibliometric research, identifying the mai n publications, authors, universities, countries and keywordsthat address the a pplications of artificial intelligence in work safety, with a focus on accident prevention.Data were collected from the Web of Science database, using the keyw ords (“artificial intelligence”) AND(workplace OR “occupation health and safety ” OR “accident prevention”). Data interpretation was carriedout through perform ance analysis, based on WoS reports; and scientific mapping, using the VOSviewersoftware. 272 articles were found that were analyzed and composed the research. ”
