From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “Grouping documents into groups or clusters can be beneficial and useful in many differentapplications. For example, document clus ters can be used in the training of machine-learning modelsthat classify docume nts in an unsupervised manner. As another example, document clusters can be usedto identify when new documents are missing content. Generally, creating documen t clusters includesidentifying the content within a document and then classifyi ng the document as a particular documenttype based upon the content. The conten t can provide details about what is included in the documentand therefore, the document type. For example, a letter may have content that would not be found within a technical document, thereby allowing for classification of the documents into different clusters.”
