A ccording to news reporting from Hefei, People’sRepublic of China, by NewsRx jou rnalists, research stated, “In order to solve the problem whereby theoriginal D WA algorithm cannot balance safety and velocity due to fixed parameters in compl ex environmentswith many obstacles, an improved dynamic window approach (DWA) o f local obstacle avoidancefor robots is proposed. Firstly, to assure the path s election stationarity and enhance the navigation abilityof inspection robot, th e velocity cost function of the original DWA was improved and the distance costfunction of the target point was added.”
