While many websitesattempt to provide an experience that is as close as possible to a phys ical interaction with a product (suchas that available in a brick and mortar st ore), there are inherent limitations to providing such experienceson websites. One particular limitation involves assessing the appearance of a product. Curren tly, websitesprovide one or more images of a product to allow users to view the product and assess its appearance. Insome cases, a website may provide differe nt images of a product or a 360-degree interactive experiencethat allows users to view the product from different angles. However, other aspects are more diffi cultto capture on a website. One aspect in particular is the appearance of prod ucts under different lightingconditions. Images of products on websites are typ ically captured under particular lighting conditions.This fails to present the products under other lighting conditions although products often appear different (sometimes drastically different) in various lighting conditions.”
