By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning DailyNews Daily News – Investigators publish new report on Ro botics. According to news reporting out ofBeijing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Soft robots have demonstratedsignificant p otential in numerous fields due to their inherent compliance; however, the soft nature oftheir actuators poses challenges for applications requiring load-carry ing capacity, and their mechanicalproperties are nonadjustable postfabrication. Drawing inspiration from the mechanical programmability ofmetamaterials, we pr opose a new hybrid fiber-reinforced actuator (HFRA) by incorporating a metamaterial-inspired skeleton into the fiber-reinforced actuator (FRA).”
