According to newsreporting out of Beijing, People’s Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “Estimating traveltime (ETA) for arbitrary paths is crucial in urban intelligent transportation systems .”Our news journalists obtained a quote from the research from Beihang University: “Previous studiesprimarily focus on constructing complex feature systems for i ndividual road segments or sub-segments,which fail to effectively model the inf luence of each road segment on others. To address this issue, wepropose an end- to-end model, AttentionTTE. It utilizes a self-attention mechanism to capture gl obalspatial correlations and a recurrent neural network to capture temporal dep endencies from local spatialcorrelations. Additionally, a multi-task learning m odule integrates global spatial correlations and temporaldependencies to estima te the travel time for both the entire path and each local path.”
