CT accounts for a large amountof ionizing radi ation exposure, especially with the rapid growth in CT examinations. Therefore, it isdesirable to reduce the CT radiation dose. However, the reduction in dose also incurs additional noise andwith the degraded image quality, diagnostic per formance can be compromised.
