According to news originating fromSeri Iskandar, Malaysia, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Sand control is an ongoing challengein numer ous hydrocarbon-producing wells in sand-rich reservoirs. Sand production in thes e wells can causedamage to equipment, reduce production rates, and lead to eros ion that can damage subsea equipment,production equipment, well completions, an d surface facilities.”
